MIA With Miss Mary Mack

I know, I've been MIA. On the 11th I wrote a quick post about a few finishes but didn't publish it because I didn't have pictures ready to upload. That draft is still waiting for pictures.

Then I went to Stitcher's Express in Mattoon for their weekend retreat, Camp Gotta Stitch. The retreat was fantastic! The projects were great and the food was wonderful. I met a bunch of very friendly stitchers, particularly Gail, Debbie and Pat. We were all at the same table during class time and had fun talking (and sometimes complaining about frogging!) while we worked on our projects. I came home with four projects. Three of them are finished! Guess what...they all need to have their picture taken. Ack!

While I was in Mattoon I lost Miss Mary Mack. I wanted to wear her on Saturday but I couldn't find her anywhere. I was really sad and pretty freaked out. I'm happy to report that I found her while repacking my bags Sunday morning. I'm going to have to do a better job of keeping track of the little Miss. I can't live through that again!

It is a gray, rainy day today. Not much good for taking pictures. It sounds like it might clear up tomorrow afternoon, so maybe I can get everything photographed. I sure hope so, I feel so far behind. Speaking of being behind, I'm really afraid that it will get worse before it gets better. Tonight is Rainbow (one of the local stitching groups) and this coming weekend is the show. And today is Move It Out Monday. I haven't picked a project from the list yet. Yikes. Time to get off the computer and accomplish something!

Glad to hear that the retreat was good! I'll have to check that one out next year...I don't think that's too far for me. Glad to hear also that you were reunited with Miss Mary Mack :)

You know, Miss Mary has always rather looked a bit mischeivious to me - she was hiding.

How fun to go on a retreat and meet some other stitchers. (I know I'd love it!!) Look forward to you sharing your finishes!

Naughty Miss Mack, hiding in your bag all along! I'm glad you found her, though. The stitchers retreat sounds like a lot of fun!
