Snapperville Happy Dance

I've been stitching like crazy to catch up on Snapperville. At last, the stitching is done! I finished at about 1:30 AM. Here is what I started with on January 20th...

This picture is from today, June 21.

Please pardon the wrinkles. Obviously it needs ironing. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to attach the snaps or buy buttons instead. Buying that many buttons would be a tad expensive, but I think they would look great! Maybe I'll take it with me to Mom & Me and see how the buttons would look. Hmmm...doesn't that sound dangerous?

It turns out that this week is the restart of the My Home Town SAL on the Legacy BB. Rats! Wouldn't you know it! I'm desperate to get caught up on Terre de France now that Snapperville is done, but I need to bite the bullet and work on MHT as well. If I work on MHT this week, that will give me at least 2 weeks to stitch 2 sections of TdF before the next section is released. Almost sounds do-able.

Time to stop contemplating and go stitch!

That turned out great! And I agree that buttons are always great but pricey. Let's hope you get out alive with your pocket book intact. ;)

Looks great (even with wrinkles)!! Good luck finding the right buttons at the right price. :)

I've just looked at some of your photos in your album. Thank you for letting me see Rockhome Gardens show. The one sampler you commented on "Now Abide" is my current project. I liked the minute I saw it on the front cover of JCS in '87 and was finally brave enough to stitch it for myself. Maria S.
