Finishes Update

I haven't posted very many pictures of Terre de France this year, so here is an update. I finished Part 19 on April 18th and started Part 20 last night. I'm on my 12th skein of DMC 310 for this project.

Joy and I are still working on Snapperville. This is our progress for March - first Joy's, then mine. I haven't started stitching the design for April, "Pumpkin Farm" but of course Joy has. Would you say I'm a wee bit behind?

Edited to change the picture of my Snapperville. Joy cropped it for me. Thanks, Sis!

On March 14th I finished Strawberry Pincushion by Homespun Elegance. Unfortunately I can't find it. It was in my stitching bag last week, so I know it wasn't lost in the move. Hopefully it will turn up soon.

I have a few fun stitching things planned this week. Tomorrow night is the Violet Threads stitching group. On Thursday I am going to Paducah for the quilt show. I'm joining a group organized by The Quilted Garden and we'll be going by bus. I'm not a quilter but I love fabric so it should be a fun time. I'm glad Linda asked me to go with her! If nothing else, I'll have hours and hours to stitch on the bus. Maybe I can catch up on Snapperville and finish Part 20 of TdF!

Terre de France is quite the project! 12 skeins of black? Wow! It looks absolutely stunning! And snapperville looks great too. :D

Woot!!! Terre de France is spectacular. Look forward to more pictures.

Snapperville(s) are coming along, too. So interesting to see them side-by-side.

My skin is deep green (with envy). I have heard the Paducah show is the bomb. You are in for some eye-candy & inspiration. Think you will catch the quilting bug?

Our local quilt guild has their show in June. I always go -- they have many beautiful quilts & quilted items on display. Never mind the boutique!!! I found some nice buttons & needlebooks at the last show.
