Back to Blogging

This is my first blog entry for September. When did it get to be the 5th? I've been stitching, watching the news and spending time with Mark. My heart goes out to those who are living in the aftermath of Katrina.

I had one more finish for August. I finally finished fixing my boo-boo on the Early America freebie from Little House Needleworks. I stitched it over one with the Crescent Colours called for on the chart. Here a a few scans, including one with a coin for perspective.

I've started several new projects including Because Nice Matters and an older Homespun Elegance kit called Strawberry Pincushion and Emery. I don't have a picture of the HE project and I can't find a link. Here is a picture of the Fruit Pincushion that I stitched last year. The design is the same except it is all strawberries instead of apples, peaches and pears.

I would like to thank everyone for all of the nice comments regarding my projects! I need to answer/respond to many of you individually and I will do that tomorrow either by email (if I can track down your email address!) or here in my blog.

Chelle - Congratulations on completing Early America! And stitched over one - wow!

I've been behind on blogging lately too. With school starting hopefully I can get back into my regular routine. Have a nice week! Happy Stitching!

Great job on Early America, Chelle. I knew that it would turn out wonderfully; nice to see it completed.

I envy your stitching abilities, especially your patience with over one. :)

You do nice work and I am impressed with your over one finish. I never got into it but I would like to try something small just to get my big toe wet!
