Crazy - Day 1 and Day 2

Crazy January Challenge Day 1 - Lizzie Kate "Don't Get Your Tinsel in a Tangle" stitched on 32 count Desert Sand linen with the DMC floss listed in the chart.  I love this already and I don't have any color on it yet.

Crazy January Challenge Day 2 - Olde Willow Stitchery "By the Grace of God" stitched on 28 count September Star Linen from Lakeside Linen with Olde Willow floss.  I wasn't sure about the stars on the fabric, primarily because the design is pretty busy as it is.  So far I really like it and the Olde Willow floss is fabulous.

Work project - SamSarah Designs "Sugarplum Stocking" stitched on 20 count WDW Guacamole with the Caron Watercolours called for, so far just Celery.  I was worried that the 20 count Weeks fabric would be too floppy and inspire ugly memories of the tabletopper.  Thankfully the linen tightens up perfectly in the q-snaps.  Love it!

I know it is early - only Day 2 - but frankly I feel energized!  So far I love everything I've started and I am not feeling overwhelmed at all.  The only thing I'm a teensy bit anxious about is that some of the fabric in the project bags may need to be pressed before any stitching can commence.  I need to get out the iron, all of the project bags and get everything *really* ready.  It has been a tight squeeze in the Diane bag all these years and I foresee a wrinkle.  Or two.

I am not happy about having links to pictures vs. actual in-the-blog pictures.  Maybe the planets will align and I can make it work tomorrow.  Ah, the drama of it all.

Congrats on surviving your first couple of days in the challenge - I agree with you, it's been really enjoyable so far! :D My iron has been running red hot too, getting fabric pressed, and my only dilemma now is that I usually like to leave my projects in their Qsnaps etc until they're finished (I don't touch any of the stitching with the snaps) and I don't have enough to go round ... but I thought I'd just find a clothes hanger for trousers that has a decent grip on it, and I'll just hang on the started projects up and keep them flat until it's time for them to be stitched again :)
