The good news is that we didn't get a lot more ice today. The bad news is that we might get more ice tomorrow. Or sleet. Or snow. Or wind. Or something that doesn't mix well with ice. Oh boy, can't wait.
Not much stitching going on. We had some excitement with a sump pump today and that ate up my time. I find myself spending lots of time preparing for the power outage that hasn't happened yet. With any luck, it won't happen at all!

Wow...that's a lot of ice! We're hunkered down here, too...waiting for the storm. So far, just rain...but it's supposed to go downhill today.
That's a lot of ice. We're looking at getting some ice tonight.
Wow, what's up with all the ice storms there this year. Stay safe and warm :-).
The weather is really weird this year. Denver is getting all the snow and you guys are getting all the ice. Stay warm.

That is a lot of ice! It looks really pretty though! LOL I do hope you do not have to suffer with a power outage!!!
seems like there's a lot of us in a winter wonderland! I can't believe how cold it's been for this long .. hope you stay safe and warm and don't have any power failure!
Don't know exactly where you are Chelle but I am hoping not in east OK. 19,000 homes without power there. I'm in OKC and we were saved from the power outages. So just house bound and stitching away.
The ice is pretty, but scary looking. We have 70 degrees today--weird. Wishing you a warm wind and no power outage (is there anything worse when you really want to stitch or read?)
Ice isn't nice...but thankfully we stayed too warm to get any...just a lot of rain. Sump pump problems can be time consuming...good luck with that!
:)
Wow, that's quite scary! Stay safe
ewwww ... ice is horrible. We didn't get what was in the forecast. Everything 'bad' went North of us.
We do have snow flurries; however, nothing is sticking [yet].
I did some boring stuff today -- and have much housework ahead of me ... bah!!!
That is a lot of ice-pretty in it's own way though. I hope you don't lose power either. Take care.
From my non-icy surroundings, it looks to me like you're living in a true winter wonderland!
I think it looks nice, well from someone who only gets rains and sun and NO snow. Do take care and keep warm if you gonna have power failure.
Chelle, your ice photo is beautiful! DD and I went outside to take a photo of snow (happens about every 10 years here) and she slid on the ice and broke her elbow last week. So even though it's pretty, I'm glad it didn't stick around long! BTW, your box does qualify as altered art. It's just beautiful.
That ice looks AMAZING - the only ice I ever see is the cubes in my gin & tonic :)
