Lebanon Show - Florals

How about another round of pictures from the 2005 Lebanon Cross Stitch Show? This is the Florals category. Unfortunately I did not get a photograph of all of the entries, just 8 of the 12 in this category.

Check out this stunner stitched by Lisa. The design is Classic Roses by Nancy Rossi from The Kooler Design Studio. Amazing!! Beautiful execution of a beautiful design.

This is Trellis, a design by The Workbasket and stitched by Mary. I am a big fan of The Workbasket. Aren't the colors great?

Debbie stitched this Brightneedle design, Sweet Summer Sampler. Isn't it sweet?

This is Charmed Sunflowers by Hinzeit, stitched by Mary Ann. Beautiful stitching + the perfect frame = an amazing show entry! I love this.

This piece won the blue ribbon for the category. It is Perennial Border designed by The Drawn Thread. Diane's stitching is beautiful. Sorry for the bad photography!

Jean stitched this Blackbird Design, Spring Fling. I think this was Blackbird's year at the show. They were very well represented! I really like this design. Well done, Jean!

Another Blackbird, this time Autumn Bouquet. Lynne did a beautiful job with this one. Compare it to the original design at the Blackbird site. Mary at Mom & Me stitched it this way for a shop model and inspired a Blackbird revolution at the shop. I want to stitch it this way too.

Last but most certainly not least, check out this beautiful tribute stitched by Bonnie. Isn't it lovely? A well-deserved ribbon for this one. Bonnie, I'm sure your Mom would be proud.

Edited 07-13-06 - the design is part of the "Tokens of Friendship and Love" sampler from With My Needle.

That wraps up the Florals category.

Last night I stitched on Snapperville and made heaps of progress. Hopefully I'll make even more progress today/tonight. I'll post a picture tomorrow. The Stitch-A-Thon ends tonight at midnight. Then it is crunch-time on Terre de France. I need to get caught up!

Wonderful stitching and thanks for posting them for us to enjoy! I loved the Mom tribute and the roses just took my breath away. And yes, I LOVE Workbasket designs. They are sweet!
