Best Laid Plans

I intended to post my 2006 stitching plans either Thursday or Friday. As you can see, that didn't happen!

I am working on an exchange that needs to be mailed no later than Monday. My goal was to mail it Friday. Unfortunately, I discovered a major problem and spent a great deal of time frogging. UGH! Right now all of my energies are focused on finishing this exchange, so I will postpone blogging until then.

I hate when I leave things to the last minute! On the other hand, there is something about working on things "just in time" that helps me to focus and stay on task. I think I need to find some middle ground!

I think I have the same genes as you - I always start out so organised with 'planned' stitching, but something always gets in the way, then I end up cramming stitches into every waking hour the day before! ;) Hope you manage to get everything done with your sanity still in tact ;)

Deadlines can be halpful ... esp when the library books are due! I can have a book for several days untouched, then when the due date rolls around -- read the whole thing in-between everything else.

Good luck with your hip hopping & look forward to the finished photos + happy dancing

Being under the hammer for a deadline is just about the best incentive I know of for getting something done!

I have the same problem, Chelle. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has to bust their butt to get an exchange finished on time. If only there were more hours in the day!!
