It Seems So Strange

Terre de France is done! It seems so strange. This project has been a part of my life for almost 2 years, and now it is done.

I started the project behind schedule. My start date was 01-21-05. By 02-12-05 I had caught up to the release dates. I fell behind a couple of times, but caught up quickly and typically stitched the design for the month it was intended. I finished it late last night, 09-02-06. I used a 32 ct Permin linen called Spun Silver and the floss is DMC 310. Thank you Annick Abrial for a fantastic design!

Here are two photos, the last part and the entire design.

It is difficult to get the entire design in the picture. I took this picture standing on a chair.

After finishing I couldn't sleep and worked some more on the Bent Creek Spring Soapbox. I've completed the Purple Haze egg and started on the Schneckley straw under it. I do love the colors in this design. It almost makes up for the big white chicken...

I keep looking at the list of projects I want to start and the list just keeps getting longer and longer. I'm going to start Move It Out Monday again, starting tomorrow. This is where you can read about my original MIOM. Tomorrow I'm going to start the July blanket for the Homespun Elegance Woolly Tyme Club. One more thing, when I get "whelmed" with MIOM I'll stop, just like last time. I'm crazy, but not THAT crazy!
